Menu and nutrition

Here is our current menu.

Group eating lunchKeeping working families in mind, the CFC provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack so parents don't have to worry about making and packing meals before they leave home on busy weekdays. Fresh food is prepared daily by our on-site chef in a professional kitchen. Our menus and procedures are USDA approved. For children attending our full-day programs, we offer a morning snack which includes a grain item, fruit, and milk. At mid-day, lunch is served and consists of a protein, vegetable, starch, and milk. In the afternoon, we offer a light snack like crackers, cheese, fruit or fruit juice. Please see the attached Menu for details. If your child has food allergies or other dietary needs, please let us know as we are often able to accommodate these.

Girl eating cerealChildren are supported in their efforts to serve themselves, eat healthy portions and clear their own place setting. This encourages the important development of independence, self-care and cooperation.
