Center
For Children
Hours: Mon.- Fri. 7am-6pm
Our mission is to provide quality child care that is nurturing, respectful and educational reflecting Christ's love to the children and their families
Our Facilities
The Center for Children facility is located on the La Crescenta Presbyterian Church campus. Each classroom is designed to provide an age appropriate environment with space for children to learn, interact and rest as needed. With three large, gated outdoor play yards, a central courtyard, and two indoor group spaces, there is plenty of room for children to move and play during their day.

Meals and snacks are prepared by an onsite chef in a professional kitchen. (Please refer to our menu page for more details).

During the school year, transportation is provided to and from the seven La Crescenta area public elementary schools.

Children in our 2 year old through 6th grade classes enjoy our Imagination Playground.

Imagination Playground
Mission Statement, taken from the Imagination Playground website:

We are helping to build a community — including parents, educators, caregivers, researchers, and leaders — united by a belief in the importance of creative free play to help our children grow up happy and healthy. In an age of childhood obesity and children tethered to electronic consoles, playgrounds have rarely been more important. Using Imagination Playground blocks, kids build a new world every day. They make objects like animals, rocket ships, and robots. They make imaginary places like houses, factories and cities. They make new dramatic scenarios, settings, and games to play. Most important, they make the rules. Because Imagination Playground is child-directed and open-ended, it encourages self-expression through deep, joyful play. With Imagination Playground, kids literally make their own open-ended fun. There's no right or wrong way to play with them. That’s also why they’re only available in one color. This facilitates more imaginative play, without any distraction or competition that might arise from having multi-colored toys.
